A Festival of Nine Advent Lessons and Carols
Saint Joseph hosts their annual Festival of Nine Advent Lessons & Carols each December. This seasonal candlelit-concert traces the history of Salvation and the coming of the Messiah through the Proclamation of the Word, Choral and Congregational Song, and instrumental pieces.
This year's Festival of Nine Advent Lessons & Carols will be held on Sunday, December 15th at 6:30 pm in the Church.
The Stained Glass Music Series at Saint Joseph
Graciously sponsored and coordinated by St. Joseph parishioner Lynn O'Keefe, the Stained Glass Music Series seeks to promote cultural and musical offerings in the Bowling Green area by providing four main concerts each year that are recorded by WKU Public Radio for rebroadcast.
The Stained Glass Music Series is mainly composed of unique concerts pairing the parish's Johannus Organ with musical groups one would normally not hear with the organ. Previous concerts include: The Music City Barbershop Quartet, Sarah Berry; Cellist, The Jazz duo of Wayne Pope & Marshall Scott, Echoing Air Baroque Ensemble, and more.
